Everybody loves to get pocket pairs when playing Hold’em. I don’t. My favorite starting hand is two medium high cards in the same color. I always bet when I have like 8 and 9 of hearts, sometimes it’s a real waste of chips… but surprisingly often I end up with a flush or straight, and WHEN I do, the pot is huge. Especially if someone has something more or less good. And since i bet from the start most of the people around the table beleives I had a pocket pair as a starting hand.
